1) I believe that Tyler is responsible for his own life. I don't think that Ravi and Molly had the right to do that especially no right to make the incident public. I'm going to say 40% Tyler and 60% Ravi and Molly. There is evidence that Ravi enjoyed this invasion of privacy and had no shame for what he was doing in the statement "Roommate asked for the room till midnight. I went into molly's room and turned on my webcam. I saw him making out with a dude. Yay". This kind of sick and twisted announcement and observation should not be allowed and he should not only spend time in a prison but should also spend time in a mental facility.
2) To prevent something like this happening we need to have much stricter punishment for invasion of privacy and spying on a person, especially if the incident is so serious it causes a fatality on one end. I don't believe anyone stepped up because everyone was too scared to step up and they enjoyed the gossip news. People should not take pride in privacy invasion of any kind.
3)New jersey has laws against bullying and is a strong advocator against bullying and incidents like this. The fact that this has happened means that their laws are clearly not strict enough and that they need to reform their laws to ensure that every student is safe and has a certain amount of uninfringeable privacy.

Chapter 1 Blog q's
1) In high school you don't really need to try, the maximum amount of effort needed to get an A in almost all classes. Quality of work is rarely reviewed as you can see in math classes. My math class grades my homework by looking to see if I have numbers on paper they don't care if I actually tried or not, then they don't help me actually understand it.
2) An A is seen as average now because most classes in high school are too easy. This is because parents blame the teachers for bad grades and kids don't take responsibility so teachers decide that they don't want to deal with the parents so they make their curriculum so easy that anyone could pass it so that they can avoid problems.
3) I believe that grades shouldn't be as important as they are. They decide the schools budget and whether you escape from high school or not. If they weren't as important and teachers could teach for learning instead of remembering then we would actually gain from the system rather than lose.
